Lymph edema (an accumulation of lymph fluid) can be caused by a cancer treatment or blood vessel operation, but can also be present directly after birth. Because the causes are sometimes very different, an indivisualised approach is necesarry to get an optimal result.
The domain of lymphology is a relatively new point of interest in medicine where a lot of progression has been booked the last couple of years in diagnosis and treatment. Our attention is therefore pointed towards the diagnosis and follow-up but also prevention and treatment of lymph edema.
We work in strict collaboration with the “Lymphology Clinic of Brussels” in the UMC St-Pieter hospital and the Lymphology Research unit from the ULB with Professor Jean-Paul Belgrado. Due to this, we can offer you the most specialised and newest science based techniques.
