I started my studies of medecine at the VUB in 1999 and I graduated as a doctor in 2006.
I began to specialise as an internist and decided to do gastroenterology after 2 years.
In 2012, I got my license to start as a gastroenterologist. I started my career at the UZ Brussels where I still work at the moment.
On top of that, I partly work at the UZ Gent since 2 years, in order to gain knowledge concerning hepatogy, more exactly liver transplantations.
During my education I also followed a LEIF doctor course and due to this I am working in the palliative team of the UZ Brussels since several years.
In 2014 I decided to join this doctor’s office next to my universitary career because of his human and personal approach of patients and his great professionalism.
