Biography
I work as a neurosurgeon in private practice at CHIREC hospitals in Brussels (Delta) and as a consultant neurosurgeon at Universitair Ziekenhuis Saint-Luc, Brussels, using all intra-operative techniques, the Pheno 3D imaging system, intraoperative 3T MRI, connected to Brainlab neuronavigation.
I developed a new Neurosurgery Department at Jolimont Hospital in La Louvière (2001-2016). I trained at university and private hospitals in Maastricht, Antwerp and Brussels. I am a lecturer for surgeons in vagus nerve stimulation: initial implantation at Hopital Militaire Tunis, Hopital Henri Mondor Créteil, University Hospital Umea & Universitätklinik Köln; working as a consultant for LivaNova, Synergia Medical and Globus for the spine.
