Biography
I studied medicine at VUB and have been working as a surgeon since 2010. I currently work as a surgeon in the abdominal surgery department and in the pelvic floor clinic at CHU Brugmann, Horta site in Laeken.
You can make an appointment with me for the surgical treatment of proctological problems (such as haemorrhoids, fissura, fistulae,...), abdominal wall fractures (inguinal hernia, umbilical hernia,...), gallstones, benign gastrointestinal or intestinal diseases (gastric rupture, diverticulitis,...) and, of course, for the treatment of pelvic floor problems such as faecal incontinence, chronic perineal pain problems, fistulae, anal prolapse, etc.
Finally, in February of 2022, I completed my PhD at the University of Antwerp with the topic: 'Surgical innovations in the treatment of pudendal or cluneal entrapment syndrome'.
