Female urological problems
Painful bladder syndrome
Overactive bladder
recurrent cystitis
Graduating as a doctor in 1990, I then began my training as a urologist at the Erasmus Hospital in Brussels and the Jules Bordet Institute (now HUB). Over time, I quite naturally focused more and more on specifically female conditions, resulting in the establishment of a perineology clinic in 2002 within the University Hospital St Pierre in Brussels, together with my colleague and especially friend Dr Ann Pastijn.
This project has grown and reached its full maturity, which gave us the desire to start over elsewhere in the hope of further improving multidisciplinary care for our patients.
In the urological field, I have a particular interest in chronic bladder pain, recurrent urinary tract infections and the use of botulinum toxin to treat a "nervous" bladder.
I am very happy to be part of this special team.
