Biography
My name is Silke Vasseur. I discovered my passion for gynaecology while studying medicine at VUB in Brussels, where I also grew up. For me, providing continuous support throughout a woman's life and accompanying pregnant women, culminating in the birth we live towards together for nine months, are particularly exciting aspects of my work.
During my five-year gynaecological training, I had the opportunity to gain experience both nationally and internationally, including internships in Tilburg (Netherlands) and the UMC Sint-Pieter in Brussels, where I got to know the Perineum Clinic. Since 2016, I have enjoyed working at this clinic.
At our practice in Zaventem, I like to take my time with my patients, leaving room for comprehensive explanations and personalised care. The various specialities here make it easy to collaborate and refer if necessary. I am happy to contribute to this multidisciplinary approach!
